After 6 months of trepidation sanded the stock of my Tanaka K98, and just finished first coat of woodstain - so far so good!

Feel that I have somehow failed to persuade Kroot from his mad plan of a Honvedseg (Hungarian Army) load out, and may have talked myself into joining him

Have spent the last 2 hours sewing on some "Desert Rat" patches on a battledress and a 1st Infantry patch on my M41. :slap: Plus, I ordered a few M1 Garand parts.

I'd say Hungarian is as niche,as say 101st airborne, certainly in numbers who fought and battles involved in.

Once the Russian front games start up, loadsa chances to die for the greater glory of the Hungarian Empire

Sorry Hurrah but I can't let you fight for Stalin can I now

Found my phone at about 8pm in the dark on the sledging field I'd been on this afternoon. Still seems to be working, despite the -2 degrees temperature.

So, this Hungarian malrky, you'll have to spill the plan beans. Are you schipperfabrik-ing, or do you have cheaper way of getting the uniform? (We need an 'other nations' section really don't we...)

There's more people in WW2 airsofting that do 101st AB load out than any other group (That's why people get so bored of other people doing it). Surely you can see that it's not to do with how many people there were fighting in the actual battles of WW2 (in which case yes, the argument would be valid, there were probably more Hungarian soldiers than the number of men fighting for the US in the 101st AB) and more to do with the number of people who do airsofting AND do a hungarian loadout (probably I'd say, a lot less than the number of people who do a 101st AB loadout). I wasn't having a go, just saying it was a bit Niche, nothing wrong with Niche loadouts...but since you made the point...yes a lot more niche than doing a 101st Loadout.
